Masterclass for Musical Performance

Ready to perform? At the masterclass, people with a love for musical theatre meet and are coached by professionals. The programme includes vocal coaching, storytelling, showmanship and stage presence. Participants come prepared with a song from a musical, which will be practiced and polished for a live performance at Captivate Caraoke, which takes place on the same day.

The next Masterclass will take place before the Captivate Caraoke event on 12 Jan 2025, which begins at 5 PM.

Coaches

Robb Correll

Robb Correll trained as an actor and singer in Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance. He emigrated to Switzerland in 1979 as a music and theatre educator and has since worked as a theatre director, vocal coach, choir and orchestra director, Ecstatic Dance event organiser and DJ and is professor emeritus of instructional design at the Thurgau University of Teacher Education. His musical productions include Into the Woods, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, Brigadoon, Peter Pan, The Fantastics, Godspell, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Passion and Pippin.

Anina Rosa

Since completing her training as a musical performer at the Stage School Hamburg in 2017 and further training at the Schule für Schauspiel, Anina Rosa has been involved in various stage projects. In 2021, she launched her first own two-person musical which premiered in November 2021 and has been on tour ever since. She teaches music and voice training and since 2018 has been realising her own productions with the collective Ich so, du so? Auso! with young refugees. Most recently she was in the ensemble and was a cover for “Frau Jenny” in Dällebach Kari at the Thunerseespiele.
