Disenchanted!” is a fast, foul-mouthed musical cabaret in which Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty & Co. finally grab the mic to tell the truth about “happily ever after” – Disney meets Real Housewives on an intimate La Cappella-sized stage.
The original fairytale princesses are fed up with their glossy storybook and movie images; led by Snow White, they rip apart clichés of beauty, romance and “happy endings” in sharp, catchy songs and wickedly funny scenes. Premiered Off-Broadway and acclaimed as a standout new musical comedy, “Disenchanted!” is definitely not for kids, but perfect for La Cappella: an evening where fairytales, pop culture and reality‑TV glamour crash into each other – smart, subversive and sharply entertaining.
