Join us in this exciting new musical where dialogue will be performed in German, and songs in their original English. While knowledge of English is beneficial, it is not mandatory as long as actors can accurately learn the lyrics and pronunciation.
Participation in workshops and classes is mandatory for actors 16 and under. These sessions will be multilingual (English and German) and aim to be both enjoyable and highly beneficial. Please review the workshop dates, costs, and the rehearsal and performance schedule before committing.
Both adult and young people’s roles are available for video audition submission. Please submit your video as soon as possible – at the latest by the 15th of June.
If you’d like to join this production, the first step is to send the director, Robb Correll, a video of yourself singing a song from any musical theater show. Please use a karaoke backing track, which you can easily find on YouTube. The video doesn’t need to be fancy-a smartphone recording is fine as long as your voice and the backing track are clear. You can either email the video file or, if it’s stored on a cloud service like Dropbox or a large file you need to send by a service like wetransfer.com, send Robb a link at robb@captivatebaern.ch.

If the director thinks you could be a good match for one of the roles you will be invited to participate in the onsite live audition on the 22nd of June and you will receive further instructions about what to prepare for the audition.
All rehearsals are from 9:00 to 17:00.
