is an association founded in 2023 with the aim of celebrating local talent by providing opportunities for people of all ages to perform in locally produced musicals – onstage and off – and to anchor the musical as an art form in the cultural scene of Berne.
In addition to hosting community events, we produce musicals and offer workshops for performers and future performers who share a passion for musicals. Captivate Bärn sees itself as a community of and network for all people who love musicals in Berne.
CAPTIVATE KARAOKE: a monthly community Event
Love musicals? Love to sing? Step into the spotlight and shine with your favourite songs from musicals on stage or screen!
Everyone is welcome – first timers and experienced karaoke singers alike! If you plan to sing it would be helpful if you could send Robb (robb@captivatebaern.ch) an email with either a link to your backing karaoke track on YouTube or the backing track file itself. If you’re not so keen on planning ahead, just come along and we’ll find you a backing track on the night.
